Conduit is open-source infrastructure software that enables HTTP 402 payments for API endpoints using USDC across EVM-compatible blockchains. Conduit is developed and maintained by Jumpbox. By accessing or using Conduit, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Terms of Service
No Warranties
Conduit is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the protocol will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your private keys and wallet credentials. We have no access to your funds and cannot recover lost keys, reverse transactions, or restore access to your wallet. You are responsible for verifying all transactions before signing them.
API Provider Independence
Conduit is a payment routing protocol. Third-party API providers register their own endpoints, set their own pricing, and are solely responsible for the services they deliver. Jumpbox does not control, endorse, or guarantee the quality, accuracy, or availability of any third-party API provider or their services.
Service Availability
We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or continuous operation of the Conduit protocol, smart contracts, or this website. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without prior notice.
Modifications
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of Conduit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above.
2. Protocol & Smart Contract Risks
Experimental Technology
Conduit relies on smart contracts deployed on public blockchains. Smart contracts are experimental technology and may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or unforeseen behaviors. Conduit contracts are currently deployed on testnets and should be treated as experimental software. Use at your own risk.
Cross-Chain Settlement
Conduit supports cross-chain USDC settlement via Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP). Cross-chain transactions involve additional risks including but not limited to: settlement delays, failed attestations, chain reorganizations, and bridge outages. We are not responsible for delays or losses arising from cross-chain operations.
No Custody
Conduit never takes custody of user funds. All payments flow directly between consumers and providers through smart contracts. Protocol fees are collected on-chain and are transparent and verifiable.
Open Source
Conduit is open-source software released under the MIT License. The source code is publicly available and may be freely used, modified, and distributed. No warranty is provided with the source code.
3. No Financial Advice
Nothing on this website or within the Conduit protocol constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Conduit is infrastructure software that facilitates payments for API services. It is not a financial product, exchange, or investment platform.
You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions and their consequences. You should consult qualified professionals for financial, legal, or tax advice before engaging in any transactions involving digital assets.
You are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable tax obligations arising from your use of the protocol, including but not limited to reporting capital gains, income, or other taxable events.
4. Privacy
Data We Collect
Conduit collects minimal data. We may store wallet addresses, on-chain transaction references, and provider registration details necessary for protocol operation. We do not collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or government identification.
Public Blockchain Data
All on-chain transactions are recorded on public blockchains and are permanently visible to anyone. Wallet addresses, transaction amounts, and smart contract interactions are inherently public data. We have no ability to delete or modify on-chain records.
Cookies & Tracking
This website uses a session cookie solely for authentication purposes when accessing ticket support features. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services that profile individual users.
Third-Party Providers
When you interact with API providers registered on Conduit, your requests are routed directly to those providers. Each provider may have their own data collection and privacy practices, over which we have no control. Review provider terms independently.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jumpbox and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of Conduit, regardless of the theory of liability.
Without limitation, we are not liable for losses resulting from: smart contract bugs or exploits; blockchain network failures or congestion; failed or delayed cross-chain settlements; user error including incorrect addresses or lost private keys; actions of third-party API providers; regulatory changes affecting digital assets; or unauthorized access to your wallet or accounts.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jumpbox and its contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the protocol or violation of these terms.
6. Jurisdiction & Contact
It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of Conduit complies with all laws and regulations applicable in your jurisdiction. If you are uncertain about the legality of your use, consult a qualified legal professional. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
